Anchoring a battle rope

We LOVE exercising with battle ropes They’re long ropes you can whip up and down to exercise your muscles. But what you may not realize is that there’s a certain way to anchor the ropes so you can use even the heaviest and most intense battle ropes safely and effectively. Anchor refers to fixing something firmly in a particular place : In our case this will be to anchor battle ropes… Today we discuss how to anchor battle ropes to enjoy an excellent workout session with your JinLi battle ropes

When you anchor your battle ropes, you want to locate a strong anchor point. An anchor point is a part of a strong structure where you can tie up your ropes, to keep them stationary, so that you can use them to work out. You can use a heavy pole, strong tree, or sturdy fence post as anchor points. Be sure whatever you are anchoring your ropes to is able to handle the force of you waving the ropes around.

Tips and Tricks

To ensure your Jinli  double braided anchor line are kept anchored in place, you can use straps or bungee cords to help hold them in place. Wrap the straps or cords around the anchor point and connect the battle ropes to them. This will help provide some additional support and keep the ropes from moving around too much when you are flipping them up and down

You don’t want some light anchor, or one that you’re “just going to make your own”. I am not an anchor expert, but if your ropes are not properly tied, they are going to fall off, start flailing and perhaps become dangerous. A good anchor will hold your ropes in place so you can concentrate on your workout, not whether the whole thing is coming loose in the middle of a workout.
